DETOUR WORSHIP LEADER
Matt was born in Pinehurst, NC but enjoyed his childhood days in the
Queen City of North Carolina. He attended Appalachian State for three
years, while working for the Baptist State Convention during the
summers at Ft. Caswell on the worship team. Over time God placed a call
to Wilmington on his heart and through circumstances, found an
internship at Scotts Hill as the Detour worship leader. He now leads
students week in and week out in worship, interacts with them in
Elevate and leads a small groups on Sundays. He disciples a growing
team of student musicians pursuing, worshiping, and living out God in
their lives with everything they have. They're the worship leaders of
this generation.

Fatal Flaw: I am messy, cluttered. It may be organized in my
head, and I probably know where EVERYTHING is, but when you look at it,
it's a mess most of the time. Working on it, working on it. Boom goes
the dynamite.
